About

Memorial Hermann Memorial City’s ER stands ready to meet the needs of critically ill or injured patients throughout West Houston – both adults and children – 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our Chest Pain Center is fully accredited to provide fast, effective treatment for heart attack patients. Designated as a Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission, the Stroke Center is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of experts that deliver quick, comprehensive and compassionate care. Memorial City received the HealthGrades Emergency Medicine Excellence Award™, placing us in the top five percent in the nation for Emergency Medicine. In addition to adult services, Memorial City Children’s Emergency Center is staffed by pediatricians who specialize in pediatric emergency medicine. The staff understands that children react differently to stress, injury or certain medications. They’re able triage faster and more accurately, assessing the appropriate treatment. Should a higher level of care be required, the Children’s Transport Team is available around-the-clock to provide pediatric transport to Children’s Memorial Hermann in the Texas Medical Center.

Call 911 or go to the Nearest Emergency Room (ER), if you have symptoms of heart attack or stroke, or feel that your "life or limb" is in danger or if your child has a severe injury, animal bite or burn; or feel that your child’s “life or limb” is in danger. HealthPost should only be used if you have a non-life-threatening situation that requires urgent attention.

Patients with more serious medical conditions at your check-in arrival time may be seen ahead of you. We appreciate your flexibility in these instances.
